Data & provenance

Gapwise treats provenance as product data. Campus facts should identify their source, freshness, and verification state whenever those properties affect trust.

A missing external source is not equivalent to a negative fact: unavailable hours do not mean closed, an unavailable outage feed does not mean no outage, and missing accessibility evidence does not mean a route is accessible.

OpenStreetMap-derived data retains its applicable attribution and ODbL obligations. Gapwise code is separately licensed under MIT unless stated otherwise.
